Kevin Snyder

Kevin Snyder was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After high school he moved to Calgary, Alberta to attend the Alberta College of Art, where he graduated with a Sculpture Major. The day after he graduated, Kevin left for Verona, Italy, where a studio at an artisan’s bronze factory awaited him. Kevin’s time in Italy confirmed his love and passion for all the arts.

Since graduating from the Alberta College of Art, Kevin has received numerous scholarships and grants his paintings and sculpture works are in collections worldwide. Kevin currently resides in Victoria, British Columbia and has been focusing on his constructed paintings depicting a variety of subject matter.

Kevin Snyder est né à Saskatoon (Saskatchewan), où il a également grandi. Après ses études secondaires, il se rendit à Calgary (Alberta) pour y fréquenter le «Alberta College of Art», y obtenant un diplôme en sculpture. Dès le lendemain, il partait pour l’Italie où, à Vérone, l’attendait un poste d’apprenti dans une fabrique artisanale de sculptures de bronze. Son séjour en Italie lui confirma sa passion pour l’art sous toutes ses formes.

Depuis sa sortie du «Alberta College of Art», Kevin a reçu ne nombreuses bourses et subventions. Ses peintures et ses sculptures se trouvent dans des collections un peu partout dans le monde. Présentement domicilié à Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique, Kevin consacre le plus clair de ses énergies à la représentation sur toile d’une gamme étendue de sujets.
