Wayne Leidenfrost first picked up a brush and started painting at the age of twelve and the immediate feeling was one of exhilaration. He has always found the creative process both fascinating and mysterious. He has talked at length with artists and writers and has read numerous books on various creative geniuses, and even though he is no closer to understanding the creative process, he is ever thankful for it’s presence. Wayne works in a small studio with no windows and rarely paints during the day. He does most of his work in the evenings and into the early hours of dawn when most of the world is sleeping.

Wayne Leidenfrost a pris un pinceau pour la première fois à l’âge de douze ans, et ce qu’il a ressenti alors fut une exaltation immédiate. Il a toujours trouvé le processus créatif à la fois fascinant et mystérieux. Il a longuement discuté avec des artistes et des écrivains, et lu de nombreux ouvrages sur différents génies créatifs, et bien qu’il ne comprenne toujours pas mieux ce processus, il en est constamment reconnaissant. Wayne travaille dans un petit atelier sans fenêtres et peint rarement pendant la journée. Il réalise la plupart de ses œuvres le soir et jusque tard dans la nuit, alors que la plupart du monde dort.
