Clair Kelly moved from St. Paul, Minnesota, to the energetic city of Las Vegas in order to study art at the University of Las Vegas. After earning her BA in 1984, she moved again to Southern California to continue her education in fine art.
After finishing her graduate program, Kelly gained significant notoriety for her work, in particular from the group and solo exhibitions in which she participated throughout California. Since that time, she has emerged as a prolific contemporary artist and boasts a national following for her work. She participates in exhibitions across the United States annually, and has works in the private collections of Bon Appetit, Federated Stores, Sheraton Resorts, Hilton Hotels, Four Seasons properties and numerous others.

Depuis ce temps, elle s’est imposée comme une artiste contemporaine prolifique, avec un public national fidèle à son travail. Elle participe chaque année à des expositions partout aux États-Unis, et ses œuvres font partie des collections privées de Bon Appetit, Federated Stores, Sheraton Resorts, Hilton Hotels, Four Seasons et de nombreux autres.
