Corrie Golden is a Richmond, British Columbia born and raised artist. She is a self taught artist, drawing from the moment she could pick up a pencil. It was in her mid 20’s that she decided to further her education by going to Graphic Design school and learning about a whole new world when is comes to Art. With the combination of classical fine art and graphic design Corrie has developed her own style which includes the subtleness of colours combined with clean and bold lines. You will find a mixture of illustrations and watercolour paintings in her portfolio. She is highly inspired by everything around her, including the music she listens to, the people she is around, nature and so much more. When it comes to inspiration she is never let down. Corrie believes that it takes much courage to be creative, but with hard work and inspiration, beautiful things can happen.

Corrie Golden est une artiste née et élevée à Richmond, en Colombie-Britannique. Elle est une artiste autodidacte, dessinant dès qu’elle a pu prendre un crayon en main. C’est dans la vingtaine qu’elle a décidé de poursuivre ses études en suivant un programme en design graphique, découvrant un tout nouveau monde dans le domaine de l’art. Avec la combinaison des arts classiques et du design graphique, Corrie a développé son propre style qui mêle la subtilité des couleurs à des lignes nettes et audacieuses. Son portfolio comprend un mélange d’illustrations et d’aquarelles. Elle puise son inspiration dans tout ce qui l’entoure, que ce soit la musique qu’elle écoute, les gens qui l’entourent, la nature, et bien plus encore.

Quand il s’agit d’inspiration, elle ne manque jamais. Corrie croit qu’il faut beaucoup de courage pour être créatif, mais qu’avec du travail acharné et de l’inspiration, de belles choses peuvent arriver.
