Noemí Martín was born in Barcelona in 1975. She manifested a great love for painting since early childhood and at the age of 16 she entered the Massana School in Barcelona, to study painting.
After graduation, she moved with her companion into a rural house at a small town in the midst of nature, where she established her first workshop. That was the place from where she drew inspiration and started researching with different techniques and themes, modeling her own style with patience and determination.
Noemí Martín participated in painting contests and was awarded several prizes. In 1998, she made her first collective exhibitions in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, etc. Three years later, she started her first individual exhibitions.
In 1999 she combined her professional career with the teaching of drawing and painting in her workshop.
Noemí Martín’s work offers us an intimate painting, pervaded with silence, maybe with a certain nostalgia touch, the most important trait being the atmosphere, the ability to convey quietness and serenity, sometimes with a gentle lyrical accent.

Noemí Martín est née à Barcelone en 1975. Elle a manifesté dès son enfance un grand amour pour la peinture et, à l’âge de 16 ans, elle est entrée à l’École Massana de Barcelone pour étudier la peinture.
Après ses études, elle s’est installée avec son compagnon dans une maison rurale au cœur de la nature, dans une petite ville, où elle a établi son premier atelier. C’est de ce lieu qu’elle a puisé son inspiration et commencé à expérimenter différentes techniques et thèmes, façonnant son propre style avec patience et détermination.
Noemí Martín a participé à plusieurs concours de peinture où elle a remporté plusieurs prix. En 1998, elle a présenté ses premières expositions collectives à Barcelone, Madrid, Valence, entre autres. Trois ans plus tard, elle a commencé ses premières expositions individuelles.
En 1999, elle a combiné sa carrière professionnelle avec l’enseignement du dessin et de la peinture dans son atelier.
Le travail de Noemí Martín nous offre une peinture intime, empreinte de silence, parfois teintée d’une certaine nostalgie. Son trait le plus marquant est l’atmosphère qu’elle parvient à transmettre : un sentiment de calme et de sérénité, parfois avec un accent lyrique délicat.
