Lynn was born and raised in the town of Salmon Arm, BC, Canada. Her initial career in construction eventually landed her in Toronto where, desperate for a creative outlet, she finally began art classes at Sheridan College. In 2006, Lynn earned a BFA with Distinction from the Ontario College of Art and Design and in 2008 she is attended the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, UK, to obtain her MA Fine Art.

Always a colorist, Lynn’s work varies from vibrant and bold to the subtle colours of autumn. Expressing her love of nature and Mother Earth, the images are joyous and energizing. Most of her current work contains multiple images, a reflection of both the many cycles of life and the information overload we experience in modern society. Working with layers of images containing layers of meaning, she provides her interpretation of intimate aspects of life, the passage of time, continuity, and the Earth.

Lynn est née et a grandi dans la ville de Salmon Arm, en Colombie-Britannique, au Canada. Sa première carrière dans la construction l’a finalement menée à Toronto où, en quête d’un exutoire créatif, elle a commencé à suivre des cours d’art au Sheridan College. En 2006, Lynn a obtenu un baccalauréat en beaux-arts avec distinction du Ontario College of Art and Design, et en 2008, elle a étudié au Chelsea College of Art and Design à Londres, au Royaume-Uni, pour y obtenir une maîtrise en beaux-arts.

Toujours passionnée par la couleur, Lynn crée des œuvres allant des teintes vives et audacieuses aux couleurs subtiles de l’automne. Exprimant son amour de la nature et de la Terre-Mère, ses images sont pleines de joie et d’énergie. La majorité de ses œuvres actuelles contient plusieurs images, reflet à la fois des nombreux cycles de la vie et de la surcharge d’information propre à notre société moderne. Travaillant avec des couches d’images et de significations, elle offre sa propre interprétation d’aspects intimes de la vie, du passage du temps, de la continuité et de la Terre.
