Zenon Burdy was born on May 25, 1956. He finished his education with the Fine Art Faculty of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland. Zenon is a Canadian artist who has had 15 solo shows and 48 group shows in Poland, Germany, Holland, Japan, USA, and Canada. Zenon has rediscovered some of the trade secrets of the old masters and has applied them with great effects to produce paintings that, while reflective in the technique of the old masters, breathe with a life and character that is unique to his style. Inspired often by biblical themes, locales, sages, and prophecies, Zenon recreates, with an imposing style, the wonders that have captured his thoughts and fired his imagination.

Zenon Burdy est né le 25 mai 1956. Il a complété sa formation à la Faculté des beaux-arts de l’Université Nicolaus Copernicus en Pologne. Artiste canadien, Zenon a présenté 15 expositions solo et participé à 48 expositions collectives en Pologne, en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas, au Japon, aux États-Unis et au Canada.

Zenon a redécouvert certains des secrets des maîtres anciens et les a appliqués avec grand succès pour créer des peintures qui, tout en reflétant la technique des anciens maîtres, respirent une vie et un caractère uniques à son style.
