Cristin Atria is inspired by the architecture and life of the American south, which she captures so wonderfully in her photographs. A self-taught artist, she adds dimension to work with the use of color.

Starting with a black and white photo, Cristin hand paints the image with oil paints, using various films and developing techniques to achieve an antique look. Cristin’s natural eye for color and design is evident in her work, which offers an interesting interpretation of classic images.
