Padloo Samayualie comes from a family of well-known artists. Her grandparents on her mother’s side are renowned sculptors Qababuwa and Taraya Tunnillie and on her father’s side Keeleemeeoomie Samayualie was a grandmother and Elijakota Samayualie was an aunt.
Padloo began drawing seriously while attending a Banff drawing workshop in 2001. In 2007 she was part of an animation workshop in Cape Dorset and she has studied jewelry making at Arctic College.

Padloo Samayualie vient d’une famille d’artistes bien connus. Ses grands-parents côté maternel sont les sculpteurs reconnus Qababuwa et Taraya Tunnillie. Du côté de son père, Keeleemeeoomie Samayualie était une grand-mère et Elijakota Samayualie était une tante.
Padloo a commencé à dessiner sérieusement alors qu’elle participait à un atelier de dessin à Banff en 2001. En 2007, elle faisait partie d’un atelier d’animation à Cape Dorset. Elle a également étudié la fabrication de bijoux au Arctic College.
